Explosion at the Boston Marathon

There are some gruesome pictures on tumblr.

It has nothing to do with the status quo, it has to do with your irrational thinking.

We don't know anything about the perps in this case, so if you want to say anything is possible, fine. But saying that its "blatantly obvious" bla bla bla, thats irrational.

And anyone who thinks Sandy Hook, a real school in a real town, with real people, was a hoax that could actually stand up to scrutiny, is completely fucking bat shit crazy. I mean you ought to be put in the zoo as some form of sub-humanoid if you can really believe shit like that. It's off the hook retarded.

damn good post suprized at your rationality props

My American friend who was in the Iraq "war" just posted this (For any other FB moron that wants to see it)

He's the guy on the ground in the gross pic I posted above. No one is tending to him and he does have the demeanor of someone who just had his legs blown off ........course I could be wrong! Just an observation!

Dude. No.

He's been identified. Jeff Bauman Jr.
BOSTON: Dad: Marathon bomb victim had both legs amputated - Nation Wires - MiamiHerald.com

I fucking hate the retarded "This person looks kinda like this person therefore THE US GOVERNMENT MUST BE BEHIND IT ALL" conspiracy theories. This guy got his legs blown off and some internet detective is trivializing his life altering event (in an effort to trivialize the heroism of Carlos Arredondo, I'm sure) by saying it was a faked picture.

You know what's funny?

The conspiracy theorist types are significantly more quick to believe *any* thing from *any* source that supports their view without looking deeper into what they read. They believe everything's a conspiracy so much so that anything against what mainstream media reports has to be true - not seeing that their alternative news sources are just as big, occasionally bigger, sensationalists than their mainstream counterparts.

There is a definite irony in that. They accept conspiracy theories as fact without really researching, and then they call out people who "believe the media."

Every single theory for 9/11, aurora, and sandy hook has been addressed and debunked. Debunked to such a degree that even major conspiracy theory blogs have retracted statements. But no, we're the deluded ones. Conspiracy theories are born of this first 48 hour period. As previously noted, all news outlets are jumping at the gun for any bit of "new" info, without wasting a breath to fact check. Misinformation happens amidst the rush for scoops and mayhem of post tragedy shock. Any later correction of misinformation becomes the mother of a new theory (one that often develops with zero fact checking itself). It's insanity to me.
