It happened to me tonight; was on the 8th rep for heavy DB press and bang, excruciating pain as well as disorientation for a few seconds. The pain lasted about 5 minues and has not gone completely away 2 hours later. When I do deads, my heart rate raises big time. I normaly really concentrate on breathing as I used to get these headaches 10-15 years ago; but I think today I was really amped up as I'm near 100% recovered from a bicep tendonitis; I'm sure I was holding my breath. I think it is also more prevalent on exersises that restrict your breathing, bench press is definitely one of them...
