Evolutionary Diet

Has anyone used this for gaining mass? I'm thinking about trying the Evolutionary Diet but plan on increasing my calories significantly over the next month. I used the formula in the article for putting on mass and that has me at

5300 calories
383 grams of fat
397.5 grams of protein
66 grams of carbs

My question is, would this be worthwhile or is this diet better suited for cutting? Those macros just seem a bit unhealthy. I believe I read on another post that there is no fruit with the evolutionary diet but I can't live without fruit. Would the no fruit only apply to a cut? Basically with the foods I typically like to eat my macros are a slightly different then what the evo diet puts me at and they are

5223 calories
325.12 grams of fat
401.51 grams of protein
131.78 grams of carbs

If someone could shed some light, I would greatly appreciate it.

All I can say is good luck with those calorie numbers. Thats going to be EXTREMELY hard to maintain

lol, you obviously don't know me, I have no problem with eating. I am however a little worried about my health with that much fat in my diet. I think I will wait to do this diet when I cut.

Fat seems a little high to me, but if you're getting fats from nuts/avacados etc they arent a bad thing at all and really are staple for any diet

I agree, and I do eat a lot of fat in my diet which all comes from great sources but that amount of fat seems to be just a tad bit too high.

I love this diet plan.. I have noticed the best results with those macros, in terms of cutting and keeping mass at the same time. You just cant go TOO far under your maintenance calories because thats when your body goes catabolic.. UNLESS, you're running anabolics.

Fat 65%
Protein 30%
Carbs 5%

^^^ Implement something likes sarms and do some intermittent fasting and you will get shredded. 4-5 weeks in your notice a big difference in body composition.

But I want to know how it would work for a calorie surplus not a cut.
