Ever try to consume 400-450g of protein from food?

This is starting to suck, I'm at 450g of protein right now, 50g from whey only.

Hats off to you. If I eat more than 300, I get the protein farts so bad, that my girlfriend will kick me out of the house. I'm serious. They're real fuckin bad.


Fuck that BigAndy.Once I climb over the 400 gram per day mark,at least 150-200 is coming from MRP's and powders.You are heading for constipation highway my man,lol.


Huck: I am exactly the opposite. The more I eat, the more often I'm in the bathroom. Anything above 4000cal/day for me, and my black lab, doesn't want to come in the house anymore! :D

I'm currently at over 500g minus 50g from a shake.

6:00am scrambled eggs ( 6 whole 3 whites) , 4 slices turkey bacon, 2 cups of 2%milk

9:30am chicken breast, half can of veggies (alternate between green beans & spinache), apple

12:00 sald w/ romaine, half a tomatoe & 12.5oz of canned chicken, 1 cup brown rice covered w/8oz lean
ground beef

3:00pm chicken breast, half can of veggies, apple

6:30pm post workout shake (Isopure w/malto dextrin added)

8:30pm 1 cup cottage cheese, 8oz lean ground beef, 2 cups of 2%milk

snack throughout the day, aprox ½ jar (252G,serving size) natural peanut butter
 
Theres people saying that 1g per pound of bodyweight is enought protein. I dont believe them, I stick with 2g per pound of body weight.

But you guys are talking about 3g and more, thats a little excessive, and with so little carbs, your body is just burning most of the protein for fuel anyways. My rule of thumb is eat at least 1g of carbs for every 2-4g of protien. This allows for maximum utilization of protien for muscles, rather than energy.

I find it hard to keep my protein intake at 2g per pound. I love meat and i used to eat about 70-120 grams of protien per meal.
 
Two words:

TUNA OMLETTE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

6 egg whites, mushrooms, onions, peppers, and two cans of tuna split between my 7:00 and 9:00 meal.

86 grams of protein.:D
 
BidAnday, how tall are you and what is your weight? My first thought is thats too much protein and you must get really moody on that few carbs? Try some long grain rice. It digests slowly, so you dont get those carb cravings in between meals.
 
shakes make me over eat... liquid meals don't fill you up as well and the brain doesn't register the nutrients as well
 
Serblifter - normally, you would be correct. I go for 2g per lbs myself.

However, a lot of these people are JUICED. And they have potential for a lot more growth, and that requires a lot more PROTIEN.

I'm 5'8 at 225lbs low bodyfat, just got back in the game did a 300mg/450mg/150mg deca/Eq/test cycle

I'm bigger and heavier now.

Next cycle I will be back at 240lbs at <9% (still at 5'8)

If I want to be that big, I've got to eat big.

Carbs make me fat very easily so I rely on protein.

Next cycle will be 550g of protein, 300g of carbs, 125g of fat the first 8 weeks...I apologize in advance to the people I will most likely offend when I'm in that mood.
