Ever Had Your Gym Close Down on Ya?

Man, I just found out my gym is closing down. Does that bite or what. Looks like they couldn't make it financially. I don't know what to do now. The other gym is high priced, wussy and further from my house. I am either going to turn back into a flubberbucket or I am going to buy a used home gym.

Well, has any of ya'll ever go through your gym closing down?

Yea, it happens. Only options are to go to another gym, or set up your own. What really sucks is when they keep your money.

Yea... that happened to me twice... sux balls... The first time I trained at home, the second, I just went at school... now I go at work... it rocks... Don't have to worry about it...

Boxing gyms > normal gyms.

I suggest you find a good boxing gym in the local area; a place that has been around for along time.
Those places almost always have great gym equipment; what is more is that you can duck into the ring and have a fight to have cardio the "fun way."

It is also good to save up money for heavy duty gym equipment at home; focusing on compond free weight equipment; alia Bench machine, squat rack, chin up bar (forget pull down machines they suck compared to weighted chinups), barbell and dumbells and calve lifting machine; not to mention a Slam man for abit of fun.
It is costly but think about it as a long term investment as a good set of equipment can last you foever in your workout career.
