Egg whites on the go

Is there any problem with scrambling up some egg whites and throwing them in a container and eating them later on in the day as long as they stay refrigerated?

I've had eggs from the night before.they were in the fridge and just heated them in the micro and bam!

NOpe!! I eat em cold/room temp with no probs - I like them that way!

wow! really? so if i brought them with me and didn't have a fridge they would be ok? not spoiled?

i've left mine out, after being cooked, in a ziploc bag for 3-5 hrs and they have been fine.

It'd be best if you kept them in a cooler with an ice pack. But they wouldn't spoil in 2 hours if you HAD to keep them unrefrigerated. Just as long as you're not keeping them on the front seat of your car in 100 degree heat!

make sure you give them a sniff before using them. if they have the slightest funky odor . toss em out.

I usually make mine the night before...put them in my "lunch" bag with all my other goodies...eat them the next day at work..sometimes at room temp..havent had a problem yet.

thanks to all for the responses...i just get so sick of the same thing all the time its nice to change it up a bit a work.
