And huge kudos to you for making those changes on your own.......
Its funny I was at Dinner with my well to do "GodFather in a way" ( he not my personal GF but treats me as such) and everyone tends to be proper around him which is nice, hes Cool and deserves respect
But somehow drugs came up, his son is not doing well with the stuff and is rich in his own right thus can use and use... its sad..
I looked around and you just feel that Fear and quite Embarrassment
I felt Obligated to say to say I slipped up , and that "one day you just get better if you want too"
I could tell he was soo thankful i said that,hes always respected me...
So i think it made him feels better, in fact i know it did...
If anyone has lost their way and know how it is.... DONT hide it, reach out , and be willing to embarrass yourself in front of others....
You may very well help a relative at the dinner table or a weak person in the crowd whose all alone and who needs a friend in those times
it so easy to give up on people, and even more easy to give up on themselves
I don't believe in that "Rock Bottom" crap and letting people sleep in the gutter....
If you Love someone or care about them YOU HELP, but use your Brains when you do it.
