During or post workout carbs?

Which scenario is better using a 50/50 blend of maltodextrin and dextrose in water.

1.) You sip on it during the entire workout

2.) Immediately finishing your workout, you down the entire drink
 
i do a waxy maize, glut, bcaa, creatine shake directly after working out.
 
Have oats +whey pre-workout - the oats will be releasing carbs throughout the workout - and then ur WM or malto shake
 
Usually I have 40g whey iso or a comparably amount of turkey or chicken and a LARGE sweet potato about 1 hour before the gym. During my workout I sip on 15g BCAA, 10g Leucine, and crystal lite. PWO I have 80g WMS, 15g BCAA, and 10g Leucine. 15-30 minutes after the WMS I have 60g Whey iso. 30-45 minutes after the whey iso I have a solid meal.
 
Will they whey with the waxy maize really slow down the absorption? Is it neccassary to get the protein in your muscles right away also like you do with carbs?

Take the whey 15-30 minutes after taking the WMS/BCAA. It doesn't take long for the WMS to clear the gut, but the more you add to it the slower the absorption. The WMS will push the BCAA into your muscles at a faster rate than if you took WMS and whey together. I believe the proper inclusion rate is 80% WMS and 20% other supps bcaa, creatine, etc.
 
I've never heard of WMS until just now. I always thought dextrose and maltodextrin were the quickest. Thanks for the info everybody, i'll definitely look into WMS instead
