Dumbell Press! This helped me alot with shoulder pain!

Hey!

I know this is nothing revolutionary, but I know a lot of people have a problem using too much shoulders on chest day, and this really helped.... You know the ol, "shoulders down"

Well I always try to keep them down, but when i come up and click the ends of the dumbells together, I have to pull my shoulders up a little...

SO, Keep them down. It is SO MENTAL, and think about it the whole time. Then just go straight up, like you have a barbell in your hand. Then back down. You might not be able to get the squeeze from when you tap them together, but it worked wonders on my shoulders, and I'm even SORE AS HELL in my pecs today! Just thought i's share..

Good to hear A/C. Try not clanging the weights together at the top. It only gives your muscles a slight break in the tension. You want to keep constant tension on your muscles during an exercise.

I don't like dbell bench presses at all...but that is just my opinion. I do not think that they are easier on the shoulders...people just tend to have HORRIBLE form on the flat barbell bench press. Not the exercise's fault...but the fault of the person doing the exercise...

Remember...don't press up...push your body down through the bench...
