Drug testing for Police employment.

I am sorry that is what I meant by only answer with no. Then they do try to rephrase the question to pick up different readings with another no. It really isn't anything to be worried about.

would it be smart to admit up front of past steriod use, or would that take you out right there, from what i know, they say, if you have used steriods in the past, they will consider you on a case by case basis.
also, they say you arent allowed to have ever used ghb. they consider it to be along the lines as shit like lsd, and coke. hell, from what i read, you could have smoked marijuana all you wanted in your past, but can never have touched GHB.
any tips for passin a polygragph test would be appricated.

Polygraph "testing" is a fraud. Whether or not you plan to tell the truth, I suggest that you check out http://www.antipolygraph.org. This non-profit (read: completely free) site was founded by individuals who have been wrongly accused by these unreliable "tests."
The site explains the trickery behind polygraphs and describes in full detail exactly how anyone can manipulate the results to "passing," truthful or not.

If you take a Valium (or any other drug) before the polygraph, you might "pop" on the drug test (if they give it that day). More importantly, taking drugs will not help you "pass" the "test." At best, it will cause an inconclusive result. If you want to "pass," you need to employ a technique that has a differential effect on the "control" questions. Such techniques are explained on AntiPolygraph.org
