raw eggs may contain salmonella. this can be avoided by buying pasteurized eggs. some companies in the US and perhaps elsewhere use IR (ionizing radiation), though cant say that am in favor of this.
your body is going to denature the proteins anyway through digestion. cooking the eggs should make no difference besides reducing the chances of getting salmonella.
I think you're making the assumption that I said that the body denatures the proteins the same way cooking does, which is wrong. The body is going to denature the uncooked egg and the cooked egg (independent of how it was denatured by cooking) by digestion alone. all im saying, is that when the body absorbs the basic components of the protein (ie. Amino acids), it shouldn't matter if it is raw or cooked because it is all going to be digested to its basic components. i mean if you burn your eggs, that might be another story.
