and my opinion is belts, straps, gloves, all that shit should be left to the newbs who work out once a week.. i laugh when i see guys with huge beer guts who come to the gym once a week walking around with their belt on with their flab hanging over it and their chest wide like a peakcock showing off their featherage. the exceptions being if you are a powerlifter or trying to max out or something.
but as said already those are all crutches and you don't want to get used to using those things in the long run.
the ONLY thing i take with me to the gym is my music ear plugs and my water. thats it.
