I worked at GNC for a few years while in college. It was a cool job. I never sold any of the crap. I took your attitude and told people the truth. I told them that the stuff I was paid to sell them was crap, and pointed them in the right direction. Pretty soon, I had people coming in taking nutrition and training advice.
I was straight with my customers because I was once one of those skinny little kids that was talked into buying a dogfood bag of Weider's Mega Mass 2000, Hot Stuff, HMB, and countless other crappy placebos...and it would have been nice if someone was straight with me back then.
Also, it didn't take me long to figure out how to get a ton of free stuff a legit way through the company, because their policies are stupid.
