Dog owners, I gotta ask something

I own a dog...Let's begin with the fact that it is winter time up here in the North and my dog has just begun taking walks. She hasn't even managed a piss let alone a shit on anyone elses property..thankfully! However, if my dog were to shit somewhere I of course would pick it up. It is down right rude to have your animal shit in someone elses yard or on public property, left for others to step in.
The people out back of us let their dog run loose as they have a large yard that connects to their sons yard. Any how, their damn stupid ass dog always used to come into my yard and shit! I would get sooooo pissed off, scoop it with my shovel and just throw it into their yard. Now of course I have my dog, have only seen theirs in my yard once and it didn't stop!
I hate people that violate the pooper scooper law, and also the leash law...I yell at people, pisses me off!

PUDDLE MONKEY, for the record both of my cats have never been outside. They are "indoor" cats. thank you!

*pats angel on the head and sends her back to her room*

*pats musclemom on top of her pointy hat, calls her a crazy cat lady and sends her to boil children in her cauldron*

*high fives puddlemonkey*

*takes his lab puppy to the park to play and socialize*

But I don't wanna go to my room!

Never met a dog that would do that, ever. But there are oddities among all species. I have a cat that responds nicely to numerous verbal commands, a first in more than 40 years.

As for spraying, that is a function of neutering, male or female. A neutered cat that pees out of the box is either suffering from urinary problems (which happen very commonly because people feed crap food) or has territoriality issues with other cats in the house.

I live in an urban area. Letting any animal roam outside would be beyond the height of irresponsibility (and in general is unless you live in an extremely rural area, and when I had horses, loose dogs were a reason to get the gun). Heck, I consider owners who walk their dogs without leashes around here inconsiderate as hell. I mean, my own son was hit by a car (not hard, but it happened) about a block from the house. One of my dogs was killed right next to the house. Last summer we had to dispose of someone's cat that was lying in front of our house, you get the point.

Well, I don't know of a case where a burglar retreated at the site of an eight pound cat but my 100 pound German Shepherd mix scared the shit out of a potential burglar and foiled his burglary while I was gone. Dogs have traditionally been valued members in a culture due to their status as working dogs. Those of us that have had working dogs know you have to keep them interested and exercised....we bred them that way.

I doubt there will be a cats of war monument. :)

leaving dogshit is a major foul esp in a city.
should be thrown at the owners for doing so...i've noticed cities out west don't tolerate it as
much and you never see dogshit.
back east more slack-more shit
