Does what I'm eating look ok?

I've started a high protein diet on Monday and want your opinion on what I'm eating.

8am - Scrambled egg, made without milk, and bacon

11am - Snack on some peanuts/sunflower seeds

1pm - Lettuce with green pepper, chicken breast, bacon, cheese with a little bit of mayonnaise.

3pm - Snack on chicken legs

6pm - Beefburger with veg or chicken breast with melted cheese and bacon

8pm - 1 slice of wholemeal toast with butter

10.30pm/11pm - more peanuts.

Does this sound ok?

what are your goals?

I wouldn't mind losing a couple of pounds but my main aim is to see the results that I put in at the gym. I want legs that look lean and defined. I'm happy with my exercise plan but just want advice on what I am eating.

diet and exercise go hand and hand, nobody can comment on your diet without first knowing your goals.

oh and i'd drop the all that bacon, and switch from the chicken legs to chicken breast.

My goals are mainly to drop most fat off my body and look, well I don't like to use the word muscular because that makes me think of body builders, but I suppose that is what I mean. I want to look slim and I want good muscle definition all other my body. The food plan that I am following at the moment is a diet that is similar to the Atkins except it isn't nowhere near as strict. It says that you can have up to 40g of carbs per day during the weightloss phase, or for the first 2 weeks at least, and then you can up it to a maximum of 70g per day. In the book, it says that you will be able to see the results that you put in at the gym. Although, it doesn't say to eat every 3 hours, I think the suggested amount is 3 meals a day, whch I know you guys certainly don't do. I know you say you should eat every 3 hours or so.

Personally I think that Atkins or anything like those diets suck.... Low carb diets like that are only going to make you binge.

What's your weight, height and bodyfat?

If you're trying to lose fat, your calorie intake should be between 10-12 x your body weight, and marcos should be at 40% prtotein, 30% carbs, 30% fats. And this goes without saying your food should be clean.

I've never had my body fat measured, but my weight is 112lb, I'm 5ft 2 and a small build. I would upload a picture of me but I'm not a member so I don't think I can do this.

That would be great, and yes you can.
