Does anyone know if Medicare will pay for HRT ??

My dad knows I'm on HRT and he keeps seeing those low T commercials so he asked me about Testosterone.

Since he won't get weekly injections I suggested Androgel.

Before sending him to see my doc who gave me my script for Test I just wanted to know if anyone's dad is on HRT and if Medicare will pay for the Androgel script ?

i know medicare in aus helps pay for some of it

sustanon 250 under a prescription is about 40$ a vial with medicare

Yeah but I'm sure the laws here are different.

I really just need to know if Medicare will pay for the script so all my dad will have to pay is the $5.00 co-pay.

I pay just $20.00 for my script of Test. If I had to purchase it outright it would cost me $90.00

Since it's a controlled substance, Medicare won't pick up that big of a chunk, though it might be close to what your insurance covers -- about 20 or 30 bucks for 1000mgs, which normally goes for about $90.00 -- approximately the same as UG gear. But I'm sure it varies from state to state. If he's got it, just call the pharmacy. They have to tell you.
