You make another good point (as does Bran).

A lot of guys set themselves up to be gold-dug. There is something to be said for staying just a tad low on the radar.

I think its fair to say that the majority of guys who do get raked over the coals probably should have known better in the first place.

You get what you pay for........

well, he must like it. or be too stupid to change it. either way, that's on him. but yeah, people like that sister of yours are pretty dispicable IMO.

This whole thread is a mystery to me, why some people continue to get incensed over the standards of what others find acceptable/unacceptable in a perspective companion. If two people whose standards are in alignment with what the other is seeking are together happily then why should anyone else care? LMAO

I have been hung out to dry on these boards in the past because I prefer a man with old school manners. Interestingly enough another poster pointed out that men who travel in certain circles are more likely to exhibit such characterstics.

I am nearly 40 years old and I have zero issue expressing my preferences. If someone has a problem with that then that is on them. :)

You dont see me putting up posts cutting other people down because they might prefer the company lowlife simpletons.

PS - Did Shadow ever answer my question several pages back? You know the one about a woman's looks. If I missed his answer, I do apologize.

Men value beauty and women value security. All else stems from this.

I would not date a woman who makes more money than I.

My wife wouldn't let me. HA!

Good discussion, I'll read it later. subscribed.

Yet another indicator of your character. It's amazing that you still don't realise the real reason why so many dislike you. It's even more amazing that you're still so shallow and narrow-minded as to call men who aren't wealthy 'losers, lowlifes'...or whatever else. Believe me, I respect and know many better men than your husband (and thousands of other very wealthy people) who are not concerned with being rich or having anything more than a salary that allows them to live comfortably.

Naaa... you can quantify up-front costs on a "wealth discriminating" person, but it's the maintenance fees that can kill you. Perspectives between a perk and an entitlement vary wildly.

And the vast majority of hidden costs aren't monetary.
