Man I love my workout partner, he fuckin' makes me work all the time, sometimes I don't get the same pump by myself. Another thing is that my workout partner is really knowledgeble so I can rely on him to put some mass on me and tell if I am squating fucked up or making sure my shoulders are back on shrugs and shit like that really helps. He helps me out on the little things and those are the most important aspects of lifting weights, I always want to learn something new everyday in the gym. I have told people that are doing fucked up excercises to do them right and they look at me like I think I am a know it all......all I am trying to do is help a brotha out you know, well fuck them.
On the other hand I love to workout by myself too because it motivates me and I got to push myself cause your partner isn't going to be there all the time so and I love Jamming to some Rob Zombie cause my gym be playin some bullshit "dentist music" ha ha
