Ryan was one of a handful of people who voted for Dballer's banning. The tenor of this thread is to blame him entirely. He did not "sponsor" Dballer's appearance on that thread.

It's scapegoating, pure and simple.

Read your own signature, by the way. You're on a personal campaign.

RyanH may be a scapegoat but you see he is one powerful scapegoat in this situation. He is passionate about his reasons for wanting dballer banned and he is heading up the effort and loudly voicing his arguments, however skewed his opinions on the whole matter may be. Many of you have already made up your minds about db being a bigot, gay-basher, whatever, but that couldn't be further from the truth.

I bet most of those other people who are voting to ban dballer agree with RyanH have not had much 'personal interaction' with dballer and they are being persuaded by the strong opinions of one man filled with hatred for another. Have you guys never noticed that dballer does not greet every gay man on this board with the same insults as he does with RyanH?

RyanH, I hate to tell you this, but you've been right all along, people DO dislike you around here because you are gay, but not in the sexual orientation sense of the word, look to the other usage of the word.

It makes no sense to ban Smalls for reading the Mod board and not publishing anything from it and to let Dballer stay when he actually published material from the board. Smalls in fact admitted her mistake and her source of a password came forward. Dballer has not revealed his source of mod board material (though I'm not sure he even knows the source).

This is as much an argument for NOT banning either of them as for the contrary. Both broke the rules but did not seriously compromise anyone with their actions.

Blaming this on RyanH is ignorant. It takes more than one vote to ban someone. But it's nice to have a scapegoat, isn't it?

As far as the source of the the mod board material, what about that guy who has virii on all the mods' computers that got banned a few weeks agao--I forget his name--he used to post transcripts of the mod board on Triedia all the time.

All I am saying is, who cares if some guy posted stuff from the mod board.

Cause he has his head screwed on straight.. cause he is not ruled by a parade of pussies.. cause he is not afraid to be diffrent and knows that everyone will not hold it against him.. unlike some of the other "stand-offish" gay guys here.
