Do I join a Gym or make a Home gym in my room?

WTF?!?
Why do you guys need SOOOOO much metal?!?

if i deside to set up at home ,all i will get is:

-Adjustable bench,
-Barbell,
-6x 20 kg plates,
-2x 10 kg plates,
-Already got dumbells

You dont really need anything else, fuck machines and cables.

Plus if i move i can just put it all in the car.

im guessing all up $300 at my rates.

IMO there is no question that having access to a full facility is worth the money. I am not downplaying what can be done in a home gym with a small amount of equipment, but there are alot of benefits to having a gym membership.

1) sense of community
2) sense of motivation
3) enough weight to keep you growing
4) enough equipment to keep you from getting bored
5) variations of cardio equipment for cutting
6) gets you out of the house

The only thing I will ever have in my home is a treadmill. I like going to the gym.

Some of the other benefits of a home Gym would be

1) It never closes
2) You can play any music you want
3) You can sling chalk from wall to wall if ya want
4) no one will tell you to not drop the weights
5) You can be as loud and obnoxious as you want
6) You can have the gym as hot or cold as you want
7) No fighting over the water fountain
8) No old men proudly parading their hairy balls around in the locker room
9) No trainers telling you that Deadlift are bad for you and that you should do leg presses or smith machine half squats instead of "real" squats..
10) Fewer distractions and people trying to talk to you while you try to stay focused
11) No idiots curling in the rack
12) No waiting on equipment
13) You choose what equipment is in the gym (funds allowing of course)
