I worked in a hospital billing dept. a few months ago and we were trying to get the state to pick up the bill for an illegal that was jay walking. He was seriously hurt, had no money and no insurance..3 months in the hospital was close to 1million in expenses up to the tax payers to pay...
So who is hurt? We are..Maybe they wont raise taxes that much, but then programs really needed for actual citizens are cut back which hurts them...

The insurance was just an example of how they could be a problem in our society. Yes there are legal citizens who cannot pay their bills but we are discussing illegals, not poor americans. Atleast in my Example if the guy was a legal citizen he would have paid some sort of taxes in his lifetime.
Look at what happens when too many people come into the country that are unaccounted for? We have problems like Sept 11th where any old terrorist and criminal can freely enter our country.
Just because I dont want thousands of 3rd world type people saturating our country doesnt make me a racist. I'm all for immagration of highly skilled people that can make a good contribution to society without messing things up.

Cheap labor means lower prices on a myriad of services. Mostly related to construction and/or manual labor.

Hey dont forget white's ARE the majority, just not generally in cities. White's are still some 70% of the makeup of the US although you wouldn't know it from living in Southern California or Florida or Arizona or even Georgia. Alright I'm pretty new here but this thread is pissing me off. Granted, I'm not in support of killing illegal immigrants (although current methods are not working 
) I'm just wondering about the few of you who are on the illegals' side... HAVE YOU EVER HAD TO WORK A JOB IN MANUAL LABOR IN YOUR LIFE? You are sitting here talking about we citizens need to improve our "skill sets." Well guess what for the most part that requires some form of higher EDUCATION, which requires fucking MONEY, which requires a fucking JOB. "Well get off your ass and go get a job then." Well when you are 16 years old and trying to get your first job with NO PRIOR EXPERIENCE and having to compete with illegal workers who will take 1/2 the pay it is not an easy task. I had a 3.6 GPA in high school and it took me over 6 months to get my first job; and I WAS WILLING TO DO ANYTHING FOR $$$ (and this was during good economic times!) I have worked manual labor jobs in the summers before alongside HOMELESS AMERICAN CITIZENS who's only source of income was through contracting companies such as Labor Ready. Well guess what there isn't much demand for contracting companies like this that pay minimum wage when there are millions of illegal workers who will work for pennies under the table ! There are millions of LEGAL citizens in this country who are willing to work their asses off but face stiff competition from illegals! Yea maybe they demand $1/hr more but LOOK WHERE WE LIVE... SHIT ISN'T CHEAP HERE. $7/hr (minimum wage in MY state) is WORTH A LOT MORE in Mexico than here! I have a younger perspective being only a year out of high school but how about you take a look around this COUNTRY OF OURS. Walk into a high school and see how many young kids are willing to work their asses off because their parents CANT buy them a car, or CANT afford to take them places, or CANT pay for them to go out with their friends, or CANT help them through college... why not give them a job? No wait, go ahead and give it to the cheap illegal worker... then watch as the kids gives up on his future and takes on heavy drug/alcohol usage. 5 years later, he decides to turn his life around and start at the bottom working some landscaping job... but wait the grown man CANT get the job because of an illegal worker. Well guess what for the most part that requires some form of higher EDUCATION, which requires fucking MONEY, which requires a fucking JOB. "Well get off your ass and go get a job then." Well when you are 16 years old and trying to get your first job with NO PRIOR EXPERIENCE and having to compete with illegal workers who will take 1/2 the pay it is not an easy task. I had a 3.6 GPA in high school and it took me over 6 months to get my first job; and I WAS WILLING TO DO ANYTHING FOR $$$ (and this was during good economic times!) I have worked manual labor jobs in the summers before alongside HOMELESS AMERICAN CITIZENS who's only source of income was through contracting companies such as Labor Ready. Well guess what there isn't much demand for contracting companies like this that pay minimum wage when there are millions of illegal workers who will work for pennies under the table ! There are millions of LEGAL citizens in this country who are willing to work their asses off but face stiff competition from illegals! Yea maybe they demand $1/hr more but LOOK WHERE WE LIVE... SHIT ISN'T CHEAP HERE. $7/hr (minimum wage in MY state) is WORTH A LOT MORE in Mexico than here! I have a younger perspective being only a year out of high school but how about you take a look around this COUNTRY OF OURS. Walk into a high school and see how many young kids are willing to work their asses off because their parents CANT buy them a car, or CANT afford to take them places, or CANT pay for them to go out with their friends, or CANT help them through college... why not give them a job? No wait, go ahead and give it to the cheap illegal worker... then watch as the kids gives up on his future and takes on heavy drug/alcohol usage. 5 years later, he decides to turn his life around and start at the bottom working some landscaping job... but wait the grown man CANT get the job because of an illegal worker. How much of my post did you actually read? I never complained about wages... I was just happy having a fucking job. AND YES MAKING LESS THAN THE FEDERAL MINIMUM WAGE IS MAKING TOO LITTLE! HOWEVER, THIS IS A GOLD MINE FOR THE PEOPLE WHO EMPLOY THEM INSTEAD OF EMPLOYING LEGAL CITIZENS. And FYI, I have a fucking skill set... and I'm working on improving it. I'm not discrediting any of their capabilities as an employee... I'm only saying there are plenty of LEGAL AMERICAN CITIZENS WHO WOULD TAKE THEIR JOBS IN A HEARTBEAT.

Well I'll be damned. We need to take a fucking machine gun to everyone in the service industry who works for tips, as well as about 99% of business owners and a big chunk of the general population who do what they can to avoid paying full taxes.
It's going to be a pity to put all that T&A to waste down at my bar, but those bitches aren't paying out what they should on the money they make serving drinks. It's a tough world, but sometimes you have to take a stand and let some heads roll.

A) taxes such as their share of social security
B) Illegal work for less
If an illegal works for less, that is because the legal workers are overpaid. It is simple supply/demand economics.
