Do you dips for chest too?I think that your chest get hit when you lean more forward and going a wider grip...

I do dips for tris and I also work my chest too by leaning more forward and a wider grips.

I used to do dips for chest. Leaning forward some and using a little wider grip will work the chest more, like you said.

I do dips for chest and for triceps, but on different machines. When i am working chest, i use the standard dip rack thing with hanging weights and i let my elbows go out to the side to help emphasize the chest.

When i want to work tris, i use a seated dip machine so that i can keep my back strait up and down and really concentrate on keeping my elbows in and feel like i am pushing down with the tris and not with the chest.

Both work back a little too, but i feel the free hanging one much more in the back than the seated one.

I love dips. I used to do them when I worked out at a gym, but now I workout at home and don't have the 'luxury' of a dip station. Dips and flat bench press helped blow up my chest - its my 'best' body part.
