Diet for a girl i know

I really need to put my friend on a diet as i been trying to help her. her problem is that she doesnt eat much meat and is very picky. im not sure about her weight but ill get it from her. i put her on the start of a diet but i told hre it needs mroe work

meal 1, yogurt with oats
meal 2, ham and cheese on wheat bread, skim milk
meal 3, peanuts and cheese
meal 4, chicken
meal 5, chicken or deli turkey or ham


she dislikes eggs, protein shakes, tuna, all other fish, cottage cheese and lots of other stuff. I need some suggestions for her so if u could help

i know she needs to make sure the lunch meat has little sodium.... im trying to make her taper her carbs through the day and eat a significant amount of protein as she is a soccer player. Help me help her a little bit bros, its harder when YOUR not the one in charge :(

Well you asked for help from the "Bros" but thought i'd help you anyway, LOL. Good lord - get rid of that lunchmeat! I don't think there is much nutrition in the diet you have for her. She needs the carbs morning and lunch. She probably hasn't blended a shake in a blender with a protein that tasts good. Depending upon her goals...why not have her try the following:

Meal #1
4 egg whites 2 yolks
4 oz. lean meat (chicken)
1/2 cup steel cut oatmeal before cooking (I steam mine in a rice steamer)
1/2 grapefruit or 5 strawberries

Meal #2
Protein Drink: 2 1/2 Scoops
In a blender:
Beverly's Vanilla Ultra Size and 12-oz water
1/2 banana, 1 tsp natural peanut butter (such as Smuckers)

Meal #3
5 oz. chicken (before cooking)
4 oz. sweet potato
2 cups salad with 2 TBS. Low Cal Dressing (Newman's oil
and Vinegar)

Meal #4
(Same as meal #2)

Meal #5 (REVISED 12/15/02)
6 oz. 93-96% lean ground beef
2 cups vegetables (or can be another salad)

Meal #6
Egg White & Ultra Size crepes...
(take 3 egg whites & 2 two yolks, 1 scoop Ultra Size & 1 scoop
100% egg) mix together & make like you would pancakes

Hope this helps - and it will build muscle, help her decrease BF and increase energy/metabolism. Most people don't eat enough...period. Meals need to be spaced at least 3-4 hrs apart for increased metabolism. Take care.
 
thanks quadsweep........ well if i can convince her to eat eggs that may work. but she says she really dodesn't like them, i told her she needs to eat mroe but she is so picky. ill show her ur pics and what u said and maybe she'll listen :)
 
she ways 130 but her legs are fairly muscular...... she has a good bit to lsoe tho. can anyone suggest a little less of a protein oriented diet since shes being difficult?

Well... she will have difficulty losing bodyfat if she loses muscle from not eating enough protein. I'm not quite sure what she is looking for... magic?
 
Turn into a real hard prick towards her. Ask her if she wants to get in shape of if she wants to be picky? Nothing ventured nothing gained and we all have to do things we don't like for the sake of good health.
 
Sometimes you (she really) nees to decide what is more important to her -- being in a certain type of shape or eating the specific foods that she will only eat??

If she's not willing to compromise then she's not ready to make the commitment to the level of fitness she says she wants...
 
First of all what is her goal ?

Losing fat, gaining some lean mass, having a "harder" body ?

Then you should tell her that you don't always eat what you like most
you have to eat what is good for your health (not for your stomach) to look better
 
I missed the goal friend. What is she or you trying to accomplish? Her basic protein is around 50 grms (bw / 2.2 X .8) if she doesn't do that much lifting. Let me know what she likes to eat and will not eat at all and I will help.
