Diet coke...

yeah but you wont break down the sucralose molecule to extract the chlorine, theres no enzymes to process it

i dont like artificial sweetners anyway, doesnt splenda cause thymal atrophy?

my .02 is that the only thing diet in North America with Splenda is diet RITE. read all diet labels even that stuff we love crystal ight. If it is a diet drink all but rite has it in it. in the UK aspartame is illegal in all diet drinks, splenda is the alternative there though more expensive. Coca Cola North america is headed in the right direction.

Diet Rite as the previous poster suggested has splenda and tastes alot like coke. There are other flavors of Diet Rite too, like orange, lime and strawberry kiwi I think. Also, if you live in the south (i dont think its sold farther north) and like Big Red, Diet Big Red is made with splenda.

I believe you are incorrect mate. I live in the UK and am sitting at my computer drinking a can of diet coke right now. On the label it says that it has aspartame and acesulfame K for sweeteners. So it seems clear that it is definately not illegal here. Unless I am misunderstanding what you are saying. If so, I apologise.

Wow! That has to be the most polite way I have ever heard anyone tell another that they are flat out wrong. I just found it extremely funny. Maybe those Brits aint all bad!!!!

Just messing with you guys. I do have a question. Is there something wrong with Crystal light and the Wal Mart brand of this product?

LOL@ "drinking diet coke while reading a thread about how bad diet coke is"

Anyway, if we are all so concerned about it, just drink water!!!, the ocassional can of coke will NOT kill you, cause you have to have conehead kids or turn you suddenly into a goatslayer freak...

Why do we find moderation so difficult to keep a hold of? life is not black and white people, but mostly gray... so drink your water and enjoy your diet coke once in a while.... together with your beer, your fried chicken, your burgers, your....ehhh, ok... some of those not.

If you eat/drink clean for 40 of your 42 weekly meals, no big deal.

LOL... Thanks. Trust me, we are not all bad. :)

God I wish I had a British accent....bastard

and you get to say mate.... :(

anyways, I drink like 2 cans of diet coke a day because it's the only way I can satisfy my sweet tooth without actually eating/drinking anything calorie-rich. So far, I'm doing pretty good...although I imagine all that crap in there isn't too good for you.
