Coke is coming out with a diet coke flavored with Splenda rather than aspartame. That should make a difference in what people think.

i would stay away from aspartame (just google aspartame and read)

but you can already get a diet soda with splenda: Diet RC Cola (it says splenda on the can if that helps) tastes pretty good

but even splenda has chlorine in it
