That's "Amputation Fetish". These people belong in a mental hospital.

A lot of amputation fetishists go to Mexico where they are able to find surgeons who will do their bidding, for a price. I read about one fellow, whose day job was as a psychologist counselling children, who was fixated on the idea that one of his legs needed to be taken off. He had enabled several other fellow amputation fetishists to find surgeons, sometimes performing the surgeries in hotel rooms, but couldn't yet find someone who would amputate his leg just below the hip. And this guy is a licensed mental health practitioner.

It's a screwy world out there.

apparently, people who are their own guardians can pretty much do anything to themselves as they wish, as long as it's considered a surgical procedure and not mutilation. i have a kid at my center who insists on doing his own piercings. he takes fucking costume jewelry and shoves it thru whatever tickles his fancy. i basically had to threaten him with an ass-whipping to get him to stop. not even the cancer talk scared him. his staff said there's nothing they could do because he was his own guardian....
