Someone claiming they love you isn't the same thing as real love. Your hyperbole is lost because you are projecting your own insecurities. I'm sorry for your pain...you can't purchase love. You can purchase a mate by providing them resources in exchange for their presence in your life but that isn't love...it's natural selection. Nobody in my personal life cares about what I have to offer in the way of resources...they value me for my comradeship and company. If I were a pauper Melody would still love me and my friends would as well. How many would "love" you if you were penniless?
