We just returned from a run...Shepherds need to be exercised and he just plopped down after a run and some water. If you want to see miserable I can post some pictures of me with Shelagh where I was smiling. Once again, I have multiple sources that you can get affidavits from proclaiming how much that dog loved me. Marriage on the other hand...even Shelagh will tell someone I was the kindest person she had ever known.

Not so much.....I'm required to be diplomatic in my day to day life. Cult life Vs. Hermit.....I would choose hermit because at least my thoughts are my own and eventually I might convince people my philosophy is better than the one they're indoctrinated with through faith based bullshit.
Maybe you should look into philosophy and ethics for your answers to life's questions instead of the AA religion. Addiction isn't a disease, it's a coping mechanism and if you can't understand that well established empirical fact you're looking for an excuse.
