How does this work? Would the high amount of carbs from Dextrose post-workout shake be harmful to say a CKD or ANPB diet low-carb diet??

gracias.

dunno about keto diets per say but i would deffinately say yes for a cutting diet

a) yes to having the Dex or yes to not having it?

b) Even if it is not a keto, and one is trying to stay below 30 or so carbs per day, they would be getting anywhere from 35-75 carbs from the Dextrose so their whole plan would be shot before lunch!

Dextrose and maltodextrin are extremely beneficial post-workout, cutting or not. A relatively low amount, such as 30 grams, taken with Glucorell R, will replentish muscle glycogen stores, aid muscle growth and recovery, and spike insulin just enough to clear cortisol and help you get back to an anabolic state.

on ckd they have you taking dex Post weight training, anywhere from 20 grams on up depending on your size, they dont have you taking dex after cardio (unless its HIIT, where they reccommed to take a small amount) . oN ckd they dont count your dex in total calorie count. just keep your carbs less than 20 all day (not including fiber) CKD recommends also to skip the fat in a In post weight training or cardio shake.

:D

Where did you read that Dextrose is used PW on CKD? Please send me that link. I could have sworn that Mr. X Is completly opposed to that.
