When doing more than 1 rep in a set, is it better to "touch and go" at the bottom of each rep, or stop and reset before pulling again?

I reset. Except speed sets. Sometimes I touch and go on those when I'm around 40%, but when I get up around 315, which is 75% for me, I reset.

Thanks spatts. Is the resetting on DL's kind of like pausing the bar on your chest when you bench? Does it help with explosion? Basically, what is the benefit of resetting?

When I reset, I let go, stand up, get my feet back into position, and then grip-n-rip it again. I do this because I feel like it's easier to keep my form with heavier weights...mainly to make sure my feet and spine are in line when I start.

I pause at the bottom of every rep on deadlift. I don't let go of the bar, but I allow it to come to a complete stop before I pull for another rep. I do this because this is how it is in competition.
