Dammit Spatts!

You got me in trouble.

My girl was down on herself because she doesn't think she was very strong last time we lifted. She started thinking the "maybe girls just can't" type bullshit, so I told her about you. I popped on here and showed her your stats and some pics. I told her what a baddass I thought you were, and how far you have come, etc.

In my eyes, I was showing her an example of someone who shattered all stereotypical bullshit in order to make my girl feel more optimistic about her potential. I thought I was doing good.

However, in her eyes(maybe I was drooling or something) she just saw me going on and on about some hardbody brunette. She didn't react exactly as I'd hoped. In the last couple days she's brought it up a couple times in a "well I'm sorry I'm not as good as that internet girl" way. You women are simply impossible:( ......sigh....

Its all your fault;)

Thaibox, you have taught us all a valuable lesson. I run my girl through two workouts each week (she just wants to keep on top of her looks, most importantly to her) and will remember never to use such a tactic if I happens to cross my mind.

You tried, and your intentions were good, but sometimes it is simply impossible to win and you're just not right, no matter how right you really are ;)

LMFAO !!!!

Tell her to come talk to me...we can get her numbers where she wants them.

...besides, the "SPATTSTER" would finish off that bad back of yours. ;)

Women are so strong. If they spent as much time working together as they do competing with eachother, they'd get a lot more done.

Recently my wife and I were looking through some pictures, and we got to one with me hugging some blonde chick. My wife nearly jumped through the ceiling... then she looked again and realized it was her. She just had her hair done and didn't recognize herself :)

Wow, if I could only get you two together...:p ....uh training.

She's actually very strong. Her very first time deadlifting ever, she was pulling 135 without much effort, it was insane. She just won't accept the fact that she's strong, and she won't acknowledge when she has done well. I'd like to make my way out toward you and the other baddasses in your area just to meet you and them someday. Maybe you can show her whats up sometime. That would be outstanding.:)

I'll buy you a Guinness for it:D

LOL:D

135 is a GREAT first time deadlift! It's not cool to be weak about what you have already succeeded at. It cheapens the concept of progress. Feeling weak about what you need to work on is ok...as long as you're working to overcome it.

It's like when you compliment a woman and they say, "Oh, I didn't have time to do anything with myself today! My hair's just a mess, and all my good clothes were in the wash. Blah, blah blah..." when they could've just said, "Thank you." Always putting themselves down. Then they have to do the same to another woman to feel better.

Damn estrogen.
