cutting diet help...

regurgitator

New member
I am starting a cutting diet and wanted a few pointers. I am 5'11",182pounds,around 11%bf- I am looking to get cut, I have been eating 6 meals/day,200+g protein, around 200 g/carbs a day and I have been using flax seed oil and walnuts for fats. How much fat a day should I take and are my protein and carb intake correct? I am doing 3 days a week morning cardio(20-30 minutes)and 3 days a week weights. Do I need more cardio?Should I cut out milk? I do 3 labrada shakes a day(low carb shakes)....the rest is chicken, rice, steak etc....I will post my diet tomorrow so you can give me a better idea what I eat...

Anyone??? I am going nuts with conflicting info I keep reading, some say high fat, high protein, low carbs, some say the opposite. I just want to get rid of the little love handles that wont go away. I have been following a very clean diet for months but I need to change some things to meet my goals. I have a few foods that I suspect are not helping(yogurt, the flavored kind) and I need to sort this out. As I understand it, cardio first thing in the morning on an empty stomach 3-4 times a week combined with weights will work the best for fat loss, is this correct? I hate running in the morning but if it works the best I will continue it instead of the treadmill after my weight workouts. I just need some concrete advice about how to lose a little fat- I am by no means "fat" I weigh 180 or so at 5'11", I just cant stand the love handles anymore...what should my fat, protein and carb intakes be?

Hello regurgitator

At your weight x10 your Cal's should be around 1800
Your Protein on a 50/30/20 diet should be 225g
Your Carb's should be 135g
Your Fat should be 40g

Doing Cardio in the morning before you eat is best for weight lose and you should do it for about an hour.

Hope this helps and Good Luck!!!!!!!!!
