I have been cutting and am having problems eating my full meals.. They are not bigger meals then what I used to eat. For breakfast I am having 5 egg whites,1 cup of oats, 5 ounce chicken breast or 5 ounces of lean beef.. The one cup of oats is so hard for me to eat I can barely get it down. It takes me an hour to get everything down. Anyone have these problems and does it get easier..

The key is to find food that fits your diet THAT ALSO TASTES GOOD.

No matter the diet, there are foods and recipes to accomidate it. Search on the internet for free for some and if you don't know how, LEARN HOW TO COOK.

Otherwise you'll be eating terrible tasting shit and won't stick with your diet.

I agree. I am having to learn that I need to eat for fuel, not just for taste. Sassy69 is the one that said that to me and while I knew it, she pointed out the obvious that for some reason finally clicked. It's VERY hard for me to eat something I don't really enjoy as I love food especially carbs.

I have a crap load of spices that help and for oatmeal, I like nutmeg and cinnamon. It's not as good as with honey or butter or brown sugar, but it's alot better than just plain old oatmeal.

Yep.
Research kano...knowledge is power.

I learned that adding things like Salsa to tuna makes it taste fairly good and that salsa is one of the best condiments there is health wise.

Little things like that are priceless when it comes to dieting.

Damn, that is an enormous meal. No wonder you are having a hard time getting it all down. I'm no expert, but that seems like a LOT.

dunno.....its about 500-600 ish calores

Seems like too much.....Im betting he is doing a LOT of cardio to cut - which is a mistake.

Keep the cals trim and forget the cardio

i refuse to adhere to stuff like that. . .like you, i would have a hard time consuming all that stuff. . .i make sure that i get 1.5 to 2 g's of protien per per pound of body weight per day on workout days, i watch my carb intake, i eat lots of meat and green veggies and i drink lots of water. . .that's it. . .

um 2 15 minutes cardio sessions a week running

I use hotsaice in my tuna..lol...shits nasty...and as far as breakfast, eat more egg whites and less chicken...chicken is hard to choke down any time of the day, or they way we eat it at least

I just had chicken and I guess my George Foreman over did it. lol It was very dry. I barely swallowed it.

1 cup of oats is a lot of oats. If it is because of the taste..add splenda and cinammon or some sugar free strawberry/raspberry/anything preserves for added taste. If you are cutting, you could also drop it to .5 cup or .75 cup and up your healthy fats throughout the day to make up for the cals (or protein for that matter)

I eat 1cup of oats when bulking, .75 when cutting. but yea, that is one ginormous fucking meal, im not sure my stomach could take that in the morning either

you are against cardio while cutting? completely? ive started to become an advocate of doing no cardio while cutting (except maybe 20-30 mins of walking to keep moving)

INDEED....unless a show is involved.

Its pointless to eat over maintenance and THEN try to burn it off

Kano - keep trackof bf as you go - otherwise you dont know if you are losing fat or lbm

yeah, replace it maybe with protein that is less volume and less dry, like egg whites or cottage cheese.

i definitely don't feel differently..as long as diet is in check (and weight training is involved) you will have just as a successful cut as long as a calorie deficit (in moderation) is present..
