Creatine,whats Up?

How much weight does a person usually lose when off the creatine and how much should I expect to knock off my bench press.
 
You'll probably lose roughly 3-5 pounds, mostly water weight. As far as your strength is concerned, you shouldn't lose much, if any, as long as you keep your diet in check. If you do decrease in your bench, it's going to be a mind thing, because you're expecting to lose strength, so you will. Try to get yourself to think that the strength increases you've experienced will stay for good now, even if you're not taking creatine any more. You should be fine, just think positive.
 
as w/ me... i never noticed any strength increases w/ creatine. But the first time i took it i gained about 12-13 pounds on it. Second time i took it i gained 10, then it just kept descending. Now i'm lucky if i gain even 3 pounds. I've never taken creatine for more than a month straight, and when off i usually take a couple of months off. So it's not a receptor problem... frankly i don't know what's behind it.
As far as losses i always lose a pound or two but never really more than that.

You gained 13 pounds on creatine in a month and then lost just a few???not bad if you ask me!!! I only gain strenght and no more than 5 pounds of water...
 
No weight gain when on no weight lose when off, strength: never lets me knock out any more reps but I usually feel ready for my next set sooner and pumps are a lil better.
 
creatine pumps are nonexistant w/ me. Recovery it doesn't do much either. Energy even less. But it has worked great to adding some size especially in the beginning.
