creatine "cycles"

Hi.
My primary goal is to gain mass. But since it will take a while till i gain my 45lbs, i also want to have definition to give the illusion that i have more mass than i actually have. So how should i organize my creatine cycles? train for mass (8-10 rep sets) when taking creatine and train for endurance (15-20 rep sets) when dropping creatine for a while?

maybe in your case the muscles will "just" come...but it's not like that in my case. i'm a big skinny ectomorph who can't build muscles like some mesomorph guy. i need a "strategy". so can someone help me out hwo to do it MOST effective?

Put the creatine in a fina kit.

i wouldn't switch up your routines any more than you would normally... besides, if you gain extra strength from creatine, why would you want to loose that strength by reducing the weight once you "come off?".... just remember, the only way to gain mass is to eat a lot... get at least 500 cals above maintenance and shoot for 1.5-2g of protein pe lb of bodyweight

well, i think i've heard somehwere, that you can't stress your muscles with such "hard" training sessions all the way through. your muscles need a break from those heavy sessions to regenerate or whatever. i don't know if that's right...
and i think i've also heared that when you train for strength/mass when taking creatine you shouldn't do that as well when dropping it because it won't be that effective, is that right?

i would train for mass/strength all the way through, if my muscles wouldn't need a break and if it was still as effective.

Cycling your training is the way to go. You could use creatine all the way through though at least post workout or something. Cycling is just smart for a change and to let you body recover and adapt but strenght and mass are not really the same training methods. check out the training board to and post this again. Just eat to eat big and clean if you want to stay somewhat deffined while putting on mass

you heard right about switching (imo)... actually, what i said is that you shouldn't switch your routines any more than normal (sorry, i assumed you already switch them)... but there's no need to base that on whether or not you're on creatine... creatine will have benefits to both types of lifting... again, though... eat for your goals
