I was looking for info on colonic irrigation. I'm writing an article about, is it bogus or are there any health benefits at all. I have run across some sick shit in my research.
Claims that it cleaned out 15 years of left overs are from very isolated cases where there were other issues.
The bowels are self-maintaining and the only way that “items” can sit in there is from something called Diverticulosis. When this happens an infection is usually there too. You know you have it, it’s that bad.
There are other remedies on the market. The latest are pills called colon cleanse. These are type 00 caplets with Metamucil in them just under a different name. Again, a scam.
As far as sitting at a 45 degree angle and getting your ass irrigated? Waste of time and money. You may clean out your lower intestine but the small will probably be untouched. I would think the process would be a risk to the colon itself as well as a great way to introduce bacteria.
I have to ask
"Butt thesis" ??

No, its an article for my local paper. I write health/beauty stuff occasionally. I generally actually have whatever I'm writing about done to me. But in this case, I'm going to interview someone who has colonics on a regular basis. The spray on tan was one thing, having a hose up my ass is just too much
