Could there be 38 Planned Movie Remakes We Didn't Know About?

You're right on about remakes! The series brings back my best memories of being a kid in the 1980's. Don't want anyone messin' with that!

Could we rewind for a sec. You fuckin' WORKED on Freddy's Dead, New Nightmare, & Freddy v. Jason?? Dude, you're my new hero! What do you do for a living? The closest I get to the film industry is valuing movie finance deals, which isn't too terribly entertaining.

As a completely random aside, I was in a novelty store in beachside town in SE Virginia and found a sleeping blindfold (you know, those kind they give you in Business Class, so that you can cover your eyes and fall asleep) that looks like it was a promotional item from the original movie. It's got two bloodshot eyes on it with the words "Sleep Kills" over each eyebrow, and then the movie title in the center. It has a place of honor in my bedroom.

I was a Special Make-up Effects Artist for 12+ years....I formally retired from the industry a couple of years ago. Yeah, I did lab, pre prod., and set work on Freddy's Dead and New Nightmare, just set app. on FvsJ.

I wouldn't say it's "full" of the type but it has it's share like all areas do, even the "A"/mainstream industry. I understand what you mean though. (B movies are just near and dear to my heart.)

I can't comment on the other stuff, but from a production standpoint I got a crash course in how F'd up the corporate side can really be, from the "B" side as well as the mainstream.

10x worse. and the women who are used, are so used up, abused, raped, given every drug and alcohol on the planet, and spit out before 30. and its all run by this mob. Violence can and does result.

Hollywood is like a monastery compared to that "other" industry.

OMG! isn't it though.
Can't comment on the mob aspect but Isn't it amazing how one industry can lead to the other in more cases and ways than people might think.

I've had a "brush" or two with the "other" myself.
