I wanna check something to make sure, you said that for the farmers walk there was 305lbs for each hand??? I find that hard to believe. I dont think many people could hold that weight for 20 sec much less walk 170+ feet holding 610 lbs.

I could be wrong but I just wanted to find out for sure. either way, great work!

Talk about the pain. I hurt. I competed two days in a row...through pain both days. Hurt. Yes...they were 305 each and I almost went the distance. That was much heavier than what they used in the World's Strongest Man contest last year...and for longer distance.

I hurt, prayed, and thanked God for keeping HIS glory inside of me as I pushed myself...always.

Happy...yes...thanks. Thanks a lot.

please clarify this for me. I compete in strongman contests as well and this weight for the farmers walk is ridiculas. I really dont believe it would be competative using such heavy weights. I can understand it if the allowed straps to be used but this is not traditional means when it comes to the farmers carry. were straps used?

Nope...no straps or tacky. Chalk only. The farmers were brand new and had no knurling on the handles either. They were not fun...many people only went 5-10 feet before their grip went out. A few went the distance. The pro's used 330, lights used 225, middles used 275 and the women used 150.
