Props to you for thinking that far ahead. Most ex-service guys only think about chasing tail & working in shipping at the local Dow Corning plant.tfuray said:Thanx bro but dont get me wrong, I'm pretty happy with the progress I've made thus far but you see I'm living in quite different circumstances than most people. I'm in a Spec. Opps. military unit so I have many advantages over the average person; I'm less than 50 meters from my gym (which is better thann any other civilian gym I've been to), we have a strength coach, I have a few teamates who compete, and an amazing chow hall that serves 4 awesome meals every day so I never have to worry about cooking anything. Also I'm getting out in 4 weeks so for the past several months I've had pretty much all free time to get myself ready for my departure. So I'm pretty hard on myself because the way I see it is that when I get out I wont have all these advantages and its going to be much harder to make progress when I'm back in the real world, so I feel that I've kind of squandered the chance to give 100% uninterupted dedication to my body, and goals. Sorry if this was kinda long.
BTW, thank you for serving. I realize you're not Canadian, but hell, you're almost as good & we are on the same side.
