Dropped a pound on the scale, but taking today off (but no day off from my diet) to do something with the kids, probably get my exercise at the mall, I feel the need to shop LOL.

I can sure feel the band exercises today!

TO DO
= should study but I am going to go play bingo with my mother in law LOL. Probably will need the money after shopping LOL though I have never to this day won anything at bingo.

I just go to keep my mother in law and my hubby's grandma company and embarrase them. I bring the largest good luck charms (garden knom, a huge rooster, a whole bunch of wheable people) and stupid hats (wore a witch hat and a sombreo) and scream and jump around when they Bingo LOL.

we bought our appliance from the same place, appliance man is coming to fix the stove today, so far since our dishwasher has broken 2 times, our vacuum and our washing machine :rolleyes: getting a wee bit annoyed LOL

- study for the last time for awhile my final is tomorrow!
- get all the kids stuff ready for tomorrow, I have to leave early to drop them off at my mom's to write my final tomorrow LOL.

A. for many multiples, I go to reply to a post & instead of replying I copy & paste into a word document. After copying all the quotes, with codes, & replying to each, I just reply on the thread & copy form the word document into the reply field.
B. Same as above, except, instead of going to a word document, I just copy each one I want to reply to, go to edit my original reply, & paste in there.

Your a wee bit busy right now, so totally understandable LOL.

It is a little sore. I ran for 20min on tuesday and could barely get out of bed on wednesday even through stretching. So I stretched in bed yesterday. Stretched after cardio today and will through out the day.

I have to admit to myself that running can not be my form of cardio right now and I am not ok with that but will be when I find my new obsession LOL.

Love, love the eliptical, hubby and I used to compete to see who could burn the most cals, of course I had to put mine to the highest level LOL.

unfortunately, when I do my butt and hip hurt, and getting to the gym is harder these days, butt when I do go that is what I do go on!

Still looking for the FIRM tapes that shorty recommended. I have got to change my way of thinking that running is the only way. I have been walking on an small incline too.

The morning was FUCKING hallarious. Oh yeah, had a tanturm cause I couldn't find my pants this morning so I threw all my hubby's clothes and mine from the closet and drawers on the floor and now I have a big pile of clothes to clean up LMAO.

Oh well, my course is done YAHOOOOOOOO. Even if I get 40% I end up with a 70% for a final mark sooo I am good with it all.

Congrats on being done. I bet it's a full moon or something -- I went nuts last night, sobbed for 20 minutes straight lying in the bedroom, then I got a bloody nose, then I ran to put my sneakers on because I was going to walk home from Ulter's in my tshirt and sneakers. :rolleyes:

Of course, then he calmed me down and said "WTH was that?" Stupid hormones... been changing my BC pills lately and want to seriously just feel normal again.

Had a cheat drink yesterday it didn't sit to well in my tummy LOL which is a good thing.

Hubby had a lot of cheat drinks yesterday, it is definitely not sitting well in his tummy this morning LOL.

My girlfriend gave me 12 pages of receipes to make my own protein bars.

Just made my first batch yummy! They are sitting in the fridge right now, but licking the bowl they tasted good, I added some packages of splenda for a little flavor and my whey protein flavor was banana


ABC Protein Bars
INGREDIENTS

10 tbsp. natural peanut butter
5 egg whites
5 scoops whey protein (I find that chocolate mint tastes the best in this recipe, however chocolate tastes good as well)
2 cups oats (OPTIONAL: For flavor, I dry cook these on a frying pan until they are toasted) 1/2 cup soy milk

DIRECTIONS

Mix the peanut butter and egg whites in a bowl. Microwave on high for 30 seconds, and mix well (so that the mixture appears smooth). Repeat 4-5 times until all traces of egg whites have dissolved into the peanut butter, and your mixture is a smooth consistent one.
Gradually add the protein (one scoop at a time) and stir into the mixture. Next, add the soy milk and follow with the oats. Continue mixing until a thick 'sticky' mixture is present.

Smooth the thick mixture into a 13x9 tray and leave for 20-30 minutes. Cut into 10 equal size bars. Individually wrap each bar (I use aluminum foil) and store in the fridge.

Nutrition Facts
Serving Size: 1 Bar
Calories: 220
Protein: 20.1g
Fat: 10.1g
Carbohydrates: 15.1g

The bars hardened but not a lot we more have to scoop them out LOL.

Low Fat "Majmum" Protein bar
ingredients:
8 oz fat free cream cheese
4 scoops protein powder ( i use chocolate)
3 cups whole oats
1/2 cup splenda
Dash of cinnamon ( to taste)

Combine splenda, cream cheese, protein, and cinnamon in a bowl and mix with an electric mixer on high til its smooth. add the oats and mix with the mixer until you have a fairly homogeneous mixture.

note if it is too thick add a 1/4 cup of milk or water

spray an 8x8 pan with PAM. spread the mixture in the pan. sprinkle some additional splenda on top and place in the fridge for an hour.

I cut mine into ten bars for a breakdown of
154 cals, 17.8g carb, 15g protein, 1.8 g fat

3. my kid might be going back to school this week, keep your fingers crossed but then he gets spring break off LOL
4. drink lots of water
5. try keep the house clean so I don't have to clean it every 2nd day
6. look into another course
 
The clothing item finally fitting again is the ultimate motivator! Congratulations! I love it:) I broke out this great ted baker sweater I got that I bought a few months ago for when I would fit into it this weekend, so I know exactly where you're coming from.

As for #5... that is a lofty goal. I just can't seem to put things back (clothes especially) where they belong.

Great News about your jeans!!! I made some protein bars also...I don't have the recipe just now, but it was corn syrup(met-rx has that as ingerdient so I used it), I don't remember brand of protein, but t was 0 carb, and ANPB...
if anyone wants the recipe let me know!

not here just yet, but you couldn't tell with the mood swings and craters on my face LOL.

I also think the clean diet and not giving into to carbs and eating at night is helping, though last night I was HUNGRY, not starving but food was on my mind, but I was a good girl.

how many days has it been? did the doc prescribe antibotics? :worried:

My old doc used to tell me he would prescribe anything for my sons ears unless puss was coming out of them! I was like nope give them to me now, I am not making him suffer.

since I walked that day, the back got really bad, made a phone call into the doc and he wants to see me now, sooo I hope he will actually do something and not tell me to wait till the MRI.

Diet still has been tight tight, but wouldn't you know it, all the weight I lost came right back on due to monthly obligations :rolleyes: LOL

Oh yeah and I spent all day yesterday preparing my hubby's favorite chicken wings, it took 6 hours. Put them on top of the stove, went to dye my hair, came down stair and the dog ate ALL of them, bones and all a whole friggin bag of chicken wings. poor dog is going to be sick LOL

can't get in to doc till wednesday, I could of fought the issue cause he wanted me in today or tomorrow, but she was too busy and I didn't feel like argueing, been in pain this long what the heck,.... I am too nice sometimes LOL

So far so good with the dog, yah think it would of been bad by now, knock on wood LOL

you and hubby are one in the same, but I got to give him credit for 3 months straight he was at the gym every morning at 5am and then worked all day!

Yup spring break is different for every province

Well I got my final exam mark back 74%!!! Which gives me a final mark of 85%!

OMG, I never expected 74, I was sure it would be around 40% Yaaahhhh for me!!!!

Thank you very much, it is a great confidence booster for things to come.

Major decisions have been made, I am going back to school full time. This year (or hopefully only 6 months) will be major upgrading (if it takes a year though I am ok with that cause I want to get top marks so they can't deny me) and then I am going to get my Nursing degree!

A total change from everything that I was going towards but hubby and I discussed it, did a lot of soul searching and researching, planned it out and I am freaking excited.

I go on tuesday to write a three hour placement exam for my college prep courses. It is frustrating because I did upgrade at another college but this college doesn't except those courses. But like you said Bunny NO looking back only Forward!!!!

Just signed up for my courses and away I gooooo. no more training for me for awhile anyway, so I am just going to be lurking and checking up on everyone else here for a bit. :heart:

Major decisions have been made, I am going back to school full time. This year (or hopefully only 6 months) will be major upgrading (if it takes a year though I am ok with that cause I want to get top marks so they can't deny me) and then I am going to get my Nursing degree!

A total change from everything that I was going towards but hubby and I discussed it, did a lot of soul searching and researching, planned it out and I am freaking excited.

I go on tuesday to write a three hour placement exam for my college prep courses. It is frustrating because I did upgrade at another college but this college doesn't except those courses. But like you said Bunny NO looking back only Forward!!!!

back to school! wow.

I am so happy for you - and happy that the medical industry will have a GOOD nurse. :D When you graduate - move to my town, kay? We need good medical peoples.

Thanks! I am excited and very scared. Not so much about the nursing program but about the upgrading. But it is a good thing I am scared cause I know I am going to work my bootay off.

I think you guys are taking all our nurses LOL, the US pays a heck of a lot more.

i think we're making them fat, too. I am alarmed at the size of the nurses walking around the hospital.

I have a friend who is a nurse (she's overweight) told me that swing shifts and heavy work loads create a bad habit of eating for most nurses. Add being a working mom on top of that to make it even worse.

Actually my friend is in her first year and she said the EXaCT same thing about here. AHHHH I am not safe anywhere. She also said the older, older nurses are mean and don't help LOL (theres great patient care)

But knowing that makes me more aware not to get like that.

Thanks everyone. So I go and about 10 minutes into it, they stop and come in, pull me out of the machine and ask me if I have a pony tail, bret or clip in my hair. I am like Noooo.

So they start rummiging through my hair, I am like WTF. So they obviously can't find anything. Go back in, so I have my ear plugs in and my eyes closed and all of a sudden I jump like almost out the bed. They are on the other end rumminging through my hair again LOL.

So they pull me out AGAIN, I have to sit up and they proceed to flip my hair all over the place. So I asked them what the hec is oging on, cause I know it is really bad to have metal even near there.

They told me they have to make sure that what is showing up is actually in me not on me. GRRRRREAT LOL. and hour later I am done.

I find out in 7 days

I don't know I tried to look up metal objects in an mri room, well that is just scary scary LOL. The first time I wasn't too freaked out the third time, I was LOL

One woman was wearing a hair pin and the magnetic force pulled it through her head, a boy died as an oxygen tank flew through the air and hit him in the head. I don't know if these are urban lengends but they are really careful about metals coming in.

My husbands a welder and has had metal shards stuck in his eye, he may never be able to go for an MRI if he needed one.

but regardless we find out soon, YAHOO, and I will know what I am working with. :heart:
