We love it. I'll take a gentleman w/ a Southern Accent any day over a man w/ a Boston accent. Of course, my New Yawk accent would probably irritate him and he would leave me. I guess I will stick w/ men from the Northeast.

No (I'm saying this out of fear - due to meet Frisky next month and she is stronger than me). Seriously, no, I don't think the girls are dumb. Why do they talk so sloooow?

dude, ask hammy im about as country sounding as it gets . actually i dont knwo why ppl talk slow. but why is it some northeners talk fast? ive talked to a few women from california and shit, and they talked so fast i couldint understand them
 
I'm from NY and talk on the phone all day w/ clients and the southern belles accents are the sexiest.. I wouldn't say that they are dumb or sound dumb but sometimes they just talk so slow that it gets annoying waiting for them to finish a sentence!! Half the time you know the question they are going to ask but don't want to be rude and interrupt!!!

I don't think I sound to southern.. a few peeps from elite have talked to me. I've been told I talk soft and low. Not much of a drawl or southern slang though.

Everyone below the mason-dixon sounds the same to me.
 
iam frome the boston area. i went to oklahoma and the women thare loved my accent
but the men thare did nothing but make fun of it.I thick men now if a man comes to the south with a north accent or visa versa women will find that attractiv and that makes them jealous so they make fun of it.wich just makes them look even less attractiv then the man with the accent.so bast thing to do is just accept it.

Actually No... In certain area's around me its alot stronger than mine. Depends on the area. Most of my family members have a stronger accent than me. I have for years forced myself to speak correct english and maybe thats why I don't sound as country.

i did go to school with a girl that had a baaaaaaad slow drawl....did drive me crazy. I talk fast i think and that makes it worse cuz with someone who dont have the accent they have no clue what im saying
the other day i told hammy he was gonna get me anuthern(saying another one)
and he was like wtf was that? lol

Eh! We don't say chooowdaaah in New York. I do admit my Queens accent is a little nasal. Our accent is more like WAWK (in lieu of WALK) and TAWK (in lieu TALK).

I agree...Went to law school with a really smart guy from SC but every single time he spoke he sounded like a dumb redneck no matter what came out. I felt sorry for him. Now ladies with a southern accent......oh yeah! Love the southern belle's.....

Southern accents vary. My roommate has a southern accent, but he does not sound slow, ignorant, or like a dumb redneck. The guy down the hall though was from the sticks part of the south, and his accent was atrocious. Same thing goes for the women, but I'll bang them either way.
 
Its weird, I, personally, never notice that someone has an accent till I see them on the news or some show with the accent.....and i really dont know why. I guess its after hearing the news people with the northern accents or something
 
British Accents own ALL of your accents! No one can hold a stick to a British Accent.
