Re: CHEAT DAY
yea... or if I make alot of progress, then I usually start to run out of motivation. it's more of a "oh well the problem is not so bad now so now it's not that big of a deal for me to diet and exercise anymore" type of a deal.
I am not trying to be pro here or anything, I just wanted to drop the 45 extra pounds I have added since highschool. I have since changed my goal to getting to 10% bf and staying there for the rest of my life and that seems to have increased my motivation quite significantly. I am no longer trying to "lose weight" as to maintain a decent level of fitness. (and I still need to lose another 6.6% bf, but that is another subject...)

I am now trying to only have one cheat meal a week. I dieted for fifty days with no cheat days, then I went on a two month binge. We're talking at least four desserts a day (and trust me, that is by no means an exageration!) I'm now trying to limit myself so I don't go crazy. I rarely crave junk food - it's the desserts that kill me! I think today is day 19, and I am seeing better results now than at the end of the fifty day diet! I'm thinking about competing in a fitness competition next year. If I can see satisfactory results by the end of December, I will decide. The funny thing about this whole dieting concept is that (for me) once I've reached my goal, I can't seem to refocus. I just binge! Anyone else relate to that?
