Chapped lips

I know where I can get pretty much everything but

where would one find the aquaphor?
And um, what does it look like?

I vote for the Blistex Complete in a blue tube, also. I started using B folds at first, and I liked it so much that I bought my own. It feels a bit wet when you first put it on, but I like it better than burts beeswax, carmex, and chapstick. :)

I get Aquafor at Target. I use it on my bod tho...do they make in a tube for lips? I have the big pump.

they make the smaller tubes....i get them at costco behind the counter where the pins and stuff are.....walgreens also has the tubes...

best stuff ever for chapped lips etc.

Stay away from petroleum products! Your lips become "addicted" to it. The more you use it, the more you need it. If you can find herbal chapstick without petroleum in it, gooood. Hawaiian Tropics makes one. But it sounds as if your chapping problem is a leetle too big for Hawaiian Tropics :D, so I defer to previous replies.

I use my cuticle oil on them sometimes... its basically just vitamin E. It doesnt taste good, but it doesnt taste nasty either, it seems to sink in and actually moisturize as opposed to just putting a coating on them.

I've been having a problem lately with really dry, chapped lips too. I really don't know whats causing it, maybe some medication I was taking about 2 weeks ago? all I DO know is that dry chapped lips are NOT fun :( Chapstick and blistex haven't made them any better... I wish I could just exfoliate all the yucky dry skin off or something!! I'm gonna try out that aquaphor, hopefully that'll work.

I vote for the water and vit E approach. Petrolium based products are not the best for raw skin. Pure non-hydrogenated cocoa butter works good overnights also. Stay away from flavored lip balm and glosses, per the dermatologist, the flavorings are usually artificial resins that exacerbate the problem.

BTW, I find the A + D ointment will help protect windburned lips, but the vit A tends to dry up my skin like Acutane.
