Cardio while on GEAR

Nathan

Due to the constraints of my schedule I do my cardio about 1hour after lifting. I finish my workout the get in a quick protein shake, with no carbs I don't feel like puking all over the cycling studio, then go do my cardio. Though when I have time I do go in the morning but I also throw in a small protein shake, again with no carbs, before the session to ensure some protein uptake. By small I mean about half a normal shake.

cardio when on and off - in the morn if possible on an empty stomach, having popped an ECA. Even bulking - u wont loose anything worthwhile keeping doing cardio - but u will keep ur BP lower, have a stronger heart, reduce toxins, etc.

Cardio - it does a body good (cept when on DNP! whew) ;)

Me and my girl do cardio everynight before bed. We select different locations in the house with different positions, so we keep our muscles guessing. Do this every night, and I try new training partners on the weekends, and you'll have plenty of cardio.

Did you see Ben Johnson after he was on Winny? Case closed :D

Not sure what is meant by this, but Ben Johnson didn't do cardio. He was a sprinter...not a runner. Sprinting is anaerobic. Just like weight training(squating in particular). Charlie Francis(Ben's coach/trainer) didn't incorperate cardio training into the regimimine. There's no need to. They lifted hard and heavy. Ben was suposedly very strong, as can be imagined. His power and speed were derived from anaerobic training, not cardio.

When does everyone do it generally? If you're going to throw it in with your lifting workout, before or after? If in the morning, empty stomach or do you save that for cutting (or not at all)?

I usually do cardio when I wake up as it gives me energy through out the day and I lift later on in the afternoon

I'm fortunate enough to have a tredmill in my room at home.

My BIG problem lately is that my shins are inflamming so bad while I walk that I cant finish. I can do about 30 minutes before its too much for me to continue with. Sometimes its even less. I dont like doing cardio unless I can get in about 40 min. Otherwise your not really burning the fat. My opinion at least, but then again something is always better than nothing... :mix:
