Cardio, liver issue

Hey guys, I've a problem when I do my cardio sessions.

I started to run 4 months ago and at that time I wasn't able to perform a run for more than 5 minutes in a row. I used to run in a gym 3 times weekly and I gained slowly few minutes.
When I was about 12-15 minutes in a row ( speed 11 km/h ) in the last minutes I started to feel pain in the liver zone. Doctor said it was normal because my body wasn't enough trained to run and it needed time; that's right, I think.

When I reached 20 minutes liver started to hurt as hell and I always had to stop my cardio sessions without the chance to run again some minutes after because liver restarted to hurt more than before.

After I started to run in a park and I did about 25 min. without a pain. Unfortunately after the first time my liver started to hurt at the very beginning of every cardio session: I can stand the pain for 20 minutes, 30 minutes but I can't sprint a lot in HIIT.

Tried to avoid supplements before the run: nothing. Blood work says that my liver is totally fine.

Today I went to run and no pain. That's incredible! In fact I did my best cardio session ever!
But this would probably be just a lucky day. Any ideas about why I feel this pain and how to fix this issue?

Thanks, as always, guys!

Doctor said it was the liver and.. pretty much I know how it feels when the liver hurts.

You could be right but that's just a remote possibility. If it is the liver, what should I do?

I find this odd. I have never heard of a liver causing pain from Cardio. My guess is that is it something else. Push through it and see what happens. I bet the pain will go away after a while.

Regardless of what your doctor says, the pain is not associated with the liver. The liver itself does not have the nerve endings to experience pain. This is why people that do extreme damage to their liver have no idea until they start showing the symptoms of liver failure (yellow skin, eyes, etc...).

The pain may be coming from that area and is probably nothing more than cramping, but it isn't your liver

Well if it is hurting badly I would do a few things I would go to a new doctor tell him your problem area and do not say liver let him come to his own conclusion, if he says liver ask if tests can be done, MRI cats can ultrasound that kind of thing. If he says its not your liver most likely it will be spine related, there are many nerves in the spine that can send pain all threw out the body. Better safe than sorry good luck
