I have been getting in 4-5 30 minute seesions of cardio first thing in the morning at 5:00 a.m BUT now I must report to work at 5:30 and since my gym opens at 5:00, I will not be able to go in the mornings for cardio. I weight train 5 days per week in the afternoon and thought I would do my cardio immediately after weight training. I usuall drink a recovery drink before I leave the gym which is 75 carbs and 50 grams of protein. Would it be best to drink this after my cardio OR between weight training and cardio? I know when I finish weight training I get the smell of ammonia which I have been told is due to the liver processing nitrogen meaning that carbs need to be consumed.
Any ideas on how to get the best out of afternoon cardio?
