Most experts say that you need 4000 calories to build muscle. But how many calories will you need from protein, carbs and fat to total 4000? And would not most of the calories be from protein?
Not really; when going into the 5500 cal+ a day diet, I get over 300 grams of protein/day, but a lot of calories come from fat and carbs. It's damn hard (for me) to hit high calories without getting a bunch of fat and carbs.
