What do ya'll recomend for calories/protein intake for optimum results. I was told 1.5/g per every lbs. i weight. And 3500-5000 carbs and should i be taken this much at all times or during cycles? And what supps (if any) do you recommend for carb intake bc 3500 carbs is alot giving i work in sales and cant eat 5-6 times a day. Thanks

dude are you serious? ya go take in 5,000 carbs lets so...10 baked potatos for breakfast and 10 more for lunch and go with 9 for diner...and you will be good...they probably meant 3500-5k calories.. you need to be able to eat 5-6 times a day if you wanna be serious about it.

man I know, I work in sales also. Its tough when you are on the road all day stuck in a car, no way to cook or even heat things up. I've found if I pack a cooler with food, and simply try to eat all day while driving I do alright. Pick some stuff that isn't bad cold, or try to find a convience store (buy something and use the nuker).

Also, protein shakes are a life saver, I blend mine up in the morning and keep them in a nalgene water bottle with a screw top lid. Damn shakers always leak...

he has to be talking about cals and not carbs.

my bad, i did mean cal/proteins. I just dont know if i should be doing such heavy intakes all the time or just while i am on my cycle.

1 cup milk
1/4 cup dry oats
1.5 tsp peanut butter
1x bananna
and of course your protein

= my protein shake morning recipe
"its like a meal on the go!"

If you wanna get technical I can give you the lean mass formulas for bulking/cutting....but suffice it for here that about 20kcal per day per pound bodyweight 40/30/30 (40% carbs, 30% pro, 30% fat) for bulking and about 14kcal per pound for leaning.........there are 4kcal per gram of carb and protein and 9kcal per gram of fat..........so.......190lb bodybuilder works out 3-5 days per week (3800 kcal for a "bulking" cycle) that would be 1140 calories from protein and fat (285g and 126g respectively.....CLEAN FAT nuts, seeds, beans etc) and about 380g of clean low glycemic carbs (except postworkout....fast refined carbs are OK).....hope this helps

You can also do a BMR (basal metabolic rate) calculation to figure more approximate for your body type....if you are carb sensitive lower the carbs and raise the protein or add a handful of almonds to the mix
