These are very different exercises. Burpees are hard to do for a prolonged period of time, whilst you can run for quite a while. Therefore, combine the two - use burpees as your go-to exercise for intense cardio involving more muscle groups, and running as slow paced cardio, which is also very beneficial.
Burpees would be a more intense exercise than running but you could probably run for longer at a time. In the end just switch it up. Look for some at home routines. There are a bunch of apps that have templates you can follow too.
