Bulking results so far

I have been clean bulking for about 5-6 weeks I believe when I started I was 163 lbs 10.1% BF. Today I weighed in at 168 lbs. From what I can tell I have not put on very much BF, maybe a pound at most if that, so I think a lot of the weight is muscle. I have been taking a ala so this may be helping. I have been taking in about 3300 calories a day. would it be accurate to think I have gained 3-4 lbs of muscle?

It wouldn't be unheard of...were you on a cycle?

Don't forget to take into account water weight. I know that I can fluctuate a good 5 or 6 pounds of water and glycogen when I carb load.

Congrats on your success!!

In 5-6 weeks, you can gain a few lbs. of muscle especially if you're a newbie - very possible. When you're at the lower weight ranges, it's always easier to put on muscle mass. Take away some water and glucogen store weight and you probably gained 1-2lbs. or so.
